HARD LOOK AT MYSELF, AND FOR WHAT I STAND
I CAN’T SEE THE FALL, EVEN LESS WHERE I LAND
AND I KNOW, IN THE END, NOTHING COMES FOR FREE
AND I KNOW, IN THE END, NONE WILL BE SET FREE
THE SAME MISTAKES, KEEP GETTING MADE, OVER AND OVER,
TIME KEEPS SLIPPING
LEAD BY COMPULSION, STRONGER THAN ME
OVER AND OVER, OVER AND OVER AGAIN.
WON’T BE THE ONE TO SAY, THAT “THINGS HAVE GOTTA CHANGE”,
THE SONG STAYS THE SAME, WHEN APATHY REIGNS
WITHOUT A CAUSE, YOU CANNOT FIGHT,
WON’T BE THE ONE, BUT I’LL DO WHAT’S RIGHT
WITHOUT A CAUSE, YOU CANNOT FIGHT,
WON’T BE THE ONE, BUT I’LL DO WHAT’S RIGHT
OVER AND OVER, OVER AND OVER AGAIN
It's so hard to choose, because all the songs are so good. Retail Hell probably edges out the rest since I heard it first, but they're all great songs. neutraldorm
The punk scene needs more of this. There are obvious comparisons to be had with Nausea and Sacrilege, but Flower stands on their own (and alone, currently) with this caustic, crusty, meaningful punk. Buy the LP/shirt bundle - it's a good price and you're supporting a good scene. X Wild Alaskan Salmonella X
Knockout debut from a Buffalo, New York-based hardcore band who like their riffs sick, their drums fast, and their choruses sticky-sweet. Bandcamp New & Notable Mar 28, 2024
